You think Ash is good enough to beat Tobias now? Tobias is a cheat player i feel like even if Ash mega evolve his Lucario, he is still no match for Tobias.

I remember when Ash finally beat his Darkrai I was like Ash might win this one, then he send out Latios.

Tobias is a plot tool to stop Ash from winning the leauge in sinnoh. Lol He will never appear ever.

Ash could probably beat at least 3 of Tobias's Pokemon now

The only way they could ever do Tobias vs Ash is if they plan to stop using Ash as the main protag. Tobais legit uses a team of legends and ash only took out 2 out of the 6 with some of his best pokemon he's got. The moment Ash could beat him, no one can take him on at that point imo. I would much prefer to see Ash vs Paul/Gary or even against Brandon again.

Another episode based on pokemon death for the win. Cynthia's new animation style look clean and beautiful. Most of the unown forms are based on english letter after all so it seems like english is an ancient language in the pokemon universe

Was this episode about death? Not sure since the dialogues were too vague and we know Cleffa evolutionary line is extra terrestrial and roam in space on spacecrafts...they are obsessed with the moon and stars

Of all the things we would get an episode about, I never thought we'd get a reprisal of the third movie.

Also surprised how they went "oh, the little girl's Cleffa died", considering how the last time this sort of thing happened in Sun/Moon it was made intentionally ambiguous.

They also kept it ambigious by not saying it died but that they had to say farewell, which obviously is just a more tasteful way to say it, but also something that most kids might not understand.

In both cases it's more of a "They are gone now" way of delivery while not hiding the actual death.

Cynthia proving why she's the sinnoh champ, she got creative and tactical to win the mirror match unlike Ash and Gou there just throwing out simple attacks.

TBH Ash himself is a champion level trainer with a regional title, another minor title and multiple quarter and semi final appearances, they just nerf my boy after every region
